Minister Alicia Woodard was born and raised in Wichita Falls. She is the daughter of the late Otis and Evelyn Polk.

She is a graduate of Rider High School and earned an Associate of Applied Arts in Science from Bauder Fashion College in Arlington, Texas, where she was named Who’s Who among students in American Students and an Honor Graduate. She also attended Vernon Regional Jr. College, taking Continuing Education courses in Child Development, receiving a CDA Accreditation. Minister Woodard was named Who’s who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges at the University of Phoenix where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Minister Woodard has served her community in various capacities. She is a Chapter member of the Youth Opportunity Center Optimist, past Supervisor of the Ambassador Boys and Sisterettes Club, and Directress of the Texhoma Mass Choir. Minister Woodard has served as a Lead Teacher for Head Start, Program Support for Region 9 Education Center. She is currently employed by the WFISD where she serves as Director of Purchasing.

Minister Woodard came to know the Lord at an early age, her main affiliation is being a child of God. She served at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church most of her life, holding positions as Directress of the Voices, Director of God Send Mime Ministry and Co-Chair and Bible Teacher of Eveready Circle.

She is currently an Associate Minister at New Jerusalem Baptist where she serves as assistant to the Pastor, lead Adult Bible Study Teacher, Treasure of Women’s Mission, Lead of the Silver Fox ministry, and Minister over Lay ministries.

Minister Woodard is the Wife of Kerry Woodard for thirty-three years and they are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters, Evelyn (Greg), Kerrisa, and Mia. She is the grandmother of Greg III and Keri.
