Barbara Jean Osborne DeLuciaborn to the late Alice M. Walton and Edalgo Harris on October 17, 1948 in Wichita Falls Texas. She was the first of five children.

She attended Booker T. Washington High School and later attended Crown Christian College where she earned her degree.

Barbara gave her life to Christ at an early age under the pastorage of Elder Andrew Jackson. Later she joined St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Billy R. Delaney. She had a deep love for God and His Word.

Her career led her to various areas of employment; however, she enjoyed cooking for others and giving selflessly to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edalgo Harris; her mother, Alice Marie Walton; stepfathers, Samuel Woodard Sr. and Elder Henderson Walton; brother, Frankie Woodard; sisters, Carlotta Harris-Farris and Shirley Williams Jones.

Barbara leaves to cherish fond memories of her legacy of love two sons, Shaun Sims of Los Angeles CA and Nicholas Prentice of Beaumont TX; two daughters, Roxanne Sims of Los Angeles CA and Mahogany Blanton of Lawton OK; one brother, Samuel (Eloise) Woodard, Jr. of Wichita Falls TX; three sisters, Sandra Harris-Johnson of Oklahoma City OK, Dorothy (Wayne) Mergerson and Jo Ann Smith both of Wichita Falls TX; four grandchildren, John Campbell, Ashley Newton, Tracy Newton and Kameron Donnell; two great-grandchildren, John Campbell, Jr. and Rylee Newton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends that are too numerous to name but yet not forgotten.
