Betty Horlean Arthur, a beloved mother and devoted woman of quiet grace, passed away on June 15,2026 in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age 87, following a courageous battle with

cancer. She died just one day after her eighty-seventh birthday, a final testament to the strength and determination that defined her life.

Betty was born on June 14, 1939, in Henrietta Missouri, where she spent her early years before eventually making her home in Wichita Falls. Throughout her life she was known for her warmth, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering dedication to the people she loved most.

A women of simple yet deeply held pleasures, Betty was an avid reader who found joy and wonder in the written word. She was also a talented crocheter, creating handmade works with patience and care that reflected the love she poured into everything she did. Above all Betty cherished the time she spent with family, and her presence was a source of comfort, stability, and boundless affection to all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her three children, Mack Arthur Jr, David Wayne Arthur, Pamela Ann Arthur, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and devotion.

A woman of Christian faith, Betty found peace and strength in her beliefs throughout her life. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she now rests in the loving arms of her lord and Savior.
