Brian Deon Kornegay, 43, was born on January 24, 1978 to the parentage of the late Archie Kornegay Sr. and Joyce Kornegay Davis. He departed this life on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Brian was a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls. He was a graduate of Hirschi High School, Class of 1996. Brian accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was employed at Cryovac Sealed Air for over 20 years and would have reached his 21st year of employment in October of this year. Brian was a hard worker who loved spending time with his family. Brian was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle. Brian interests included tinkering with old cars however his favorite interest was being with family and friends, sharing laughs and discussing life’s lessons. Brian was preceded in death by his father Archie Kornegay Sr., maternal grandparents Oscar & Archie Lee Pope, paternal grandmother Katherine Sutton and nephew Dymeterion Wade.

Brian is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Joyce Kornegay Davis (Chris); three children, his loving daughter Keaziyah Kornegay, Re’Asisa Minor and Micah Smith; three brothers Archie Kornegay Jr., Shalin Kornegay and Rudy Humphrey, sister LaToya Kornegay and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and dear friends.
