Carolyn was born to the late Mary Frances Odell Branch and Kenneth Branch on August 13, 1950. She departed this life on April 8, 2022 Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances and brother, Eric Marks. She received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Eastside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX. She later moved to Dallas, TX where she attended El Centro College receiving her degree in nursing. As a Rn, she worked all over the Dallas area at various medical facilities until her retirement. Attending church in the Dallas areas was an important part of her life. Carolyn also joined the Arm Reserves, working at the Veterans Affairs for several years.

Carolyn leaves behind three children, Trevor Branch, Gregory Branch and Keesha Branch-Obi (Casmir) of Dallas, TX; one sister, Paula Palmer of Wichita Falls, TX; three grandchildren who she loved dearly and spent as much time as possible spoiling them lovingly, Ke’ara and Khema Branch and Korian Smith all of Dallas, TX; six great grandchildren, J’Dyn, James, Kourtney, King Hezekiaha, Carter and Khloe; a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
