Cedric Lamonte Jesus Christ Gray Sr. was born December 15, 1974 in Wichita Falls, TX to the parents of Rose Marion Murphy Gray and the late Clarence Gray Sr. At the young age of 50, he passed on November 13, 2025.

We are gathered here today in the memory of my baby brother, so that together we can share both our joy in the gift that his life was to us and the pain that his passing brings. Together may we lessen the pain and remember more clearly the joy.

Cedric better known to everyone as C-Nyle was a rapper, singer all around artist. Everyone loved his music. He also did Gospel and had almost got signed to Rap A Lot Records. Music was his passion and always the center of attention.

Cedric was a loving son, nephew, cousin, father, brother and friend.

He is preceded in death by grandmothers, Lola Mae Buford and Dorothy Mae Kisses Brown; brother, Clarence Gray, Jr.; uncle, Harrison Lee Brown; aunt and uncle Dyeann and Anthony Eugene Rayford.

He leaves his memories and legacy to his mother, Rose M. Murphy Gray; daughters, Alexus Gray and Jasmine DeVaughn; sons, Cedric Lamonte J. C. Gray, Jr., and Katrevius Gray; two brothers, Shannon Gray (Missy) and Patrick Gray (Jackie); eight grandkids; special lifetime cherished friends, Constance Pendleton, Jack Temple Jr., Jamie Ford, Empra Holt Sr. Medro “Pops” Davis Lemuel Washington, Douglas Johnson, and Gary White; a special first cousin, uncle and brother, Henry L. McGowan; a host of children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins’ other relatives and friends.

Known Cedric since Austin Elementary, he was always taking his pencil making beats & rapping. I use to think he was like the Sugar Bear guy off the cereal chemical always smiling with his chubby cheeks, he would always do a goofy laugh, that I will forever remember.... He was always laughing & joking. As we got older & I would see him, he would still always speak, always have a smile .. He just texted me on messenger not to long ago, said Hey what's up class! I was at work & didn't get to say much back. Now I wish I had. My most deepest condolences to his family his babies & his closest friends who he always called family or "Class".... Rest peacefully sweet friend..
