Cha’Quon JaMel Jeffery was born on June 20, 1997 in Wichita Falls, TX. He is the son of Lucious and Donna Jeffery. Cha’Quon is a graduate of Hirschi High School.

He was a member of the Hirschi Huskies Basketball Team and a member of Hirschi Acapella Choir. He attended Vernon

Cha’Quon was introduced to the game of basketball by his dad at a very early age. He shared and loved the game as much as his dad. He was coached by his dad

several championships as well as
individual awards. He also played
for Kirby Jr. High.

He mostly loved and enjoyed
watching basketball games with his dad, where they would sit and debate the Old Basketball Age vs The New Basketball Age. A lot of long and drawn out debates.

He loved his sneakers. He landed the perfect job when he started working for Foot Locker. He managed to work his
way from salesperson to Assistant Manager. He currently served as manager at Champs in Sikes Senter Mall. He loved his job and coworkers.

Cha’Quon was a faithful and dedicated member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board,
Mime Team, Choir and Ambassador Boys and Sisterettes Club. He also worked in the Audio/Sound booth.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nelson and Anita Kimbel and paternal grandfather, Thomas
Anderson.

his parents; Lucious and Donna Jeffery; half-sister, Chene Whittington; paternal grandmother, Sallie Jackson; aunts,

To Uncle Lucious and Aunt Donna, Words can't express how broken-hearted we are right along with y'all. I was shocked when I heard what happened. I can't pretend like I know how y'all feel, but I do know that the LORD is a very present help in times of trouble. We love y'all and you are in our prayers. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. " 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Cha'Quon Nephew, I will never understand why God chose you but I will never question it because he definitely gained an angel. I will never forget our last conversation at Burlington's. We laughed and joked about why you were at Burlington's shopping and of course we joked about your tattoo. You were so respectful, kind, mannerable, intelligent, loving and a child of God. I will never forgot your smile, dimples and infectious smile. I will always love you Cha'Quon💙💙💙💙Aunt Sonja

Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: " Jesus plainly told her: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." —John 11:20-25.
