Carla Chaslas was born September 4, 1974 to Corlin and Beverly Smith in Wichita Falls, Texas. She grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas with siblings, three brothers: Corlin Smith, Jr, Christopher Smith and Leon Lowe. At the time of her passing she was a loyal dedicated employee for Whataburger. She was employed there for nine years. She gained respect and was loved by regular customers. Often customer would seek her out for service. Carla was experienced at customer service. She also worked for Taco Bell for eight years. She worked for Sheppard Air Force Base as a Mess Attendant and Cashier. She loved caring for others and was a Home Health Care Employee.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Willie James and Tommie Buckner; George and Bennie Smith and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Beverly Smith; two daughters, Kateia Smith and Breanna Wesley; three brothers, Corlin “Buggie” Smith, Jr (Becky), Christopher Smith, Jr., (Desha’la), Christopher Smith, III, Leon Loew, Sr., Leon Tre’vion Lowe, III, Brandon Swisher, Corlin Smith, III, Malik Smith; niece, Xara Buckner, Kathy Branch, Monica DeMar, Donald Smith, Jimmy Smith and Ronny Smith, A’nalesea Smith, Zephaniah Smith, N’ahmir Moore, E’rabella Smith and Kai Smith. Darlene Smith, Sharon Epperson, Dorothy Hicks.
