Daphne Kim Tillery was born on July 20, 1979 in Vernon, TX to Georgia Tillery and Travis Petty, IV. She accepted God as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1998 where she excelled in basketball and ROTC. Daphne was well known for her love for fishing, which she inherited from her grandmother, and her love of the Dallas Cowboys. Her radiant, humorous personality was contagious, and you couldn’t be around her without smiling. Her style matched her big personality, and inside and out, top to bottom, Daphne was truly a light. Through all her accomplishments, her proudest and greatest moment was when she married her soulmate and best friend, Kendra Calicutt-Tillery on November 7, 2019.

She was employed at the prison and as a security guard. She also worked at D & S and Home Health Care. She enjoyed working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Daphne “Daz” Tillery was truly an angel who left earth and returned home.
