Dewayne Rose was born on January 10, 1963 in Loraine, TX to Morgan and Mildred Rose. He departed this life on April 6, 2026. He attended school at Loraine Public School graduating from Loraine High School. He was an avid athlete playing both football and basketball.
He worshiped at Cannan Baptist Church in Loraine, TX with his family. There he was active with the Youth Department.
After high school, he continued the legacy by entering the farming profession. He later relocated to Arlington, TX. He missed the love of farming and returned home to Loraine, TX where he resided until his death.
Dewayne is preceded in death by parents, Morgan and Mildred Rose; and brother, Clinton Rose.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Josefa, of twenty years; siblings, Sidney Rose, Fort Worth, TX, Shirley Jossell (Johnson) Chicago, IL, Sherry Rose, Fort Worth, TX, Kenneth Rose, (Pam) of Eastland, TX, Sylvester Rose (Virginia), Wichita Falls, TX, Sandra Harris (Lamont) Sacramento, CA, and Jerry Rose of Abilene, TX; children, Monica and husband Dean Fordham, Raymondo Franco and Angela Alvarez, Cynthia Franco, and Isaac and wife Lacy Franco; Grandchildren, Jonathan Franco, Alyssa Alvarez, Samantha Balderas, Draven Franco May, Christian Franco, Ethan Franco, Celeste Alvarez, Ayo Balderas, Corbin Reyes, Aidan Franco, Kendall Franco, and Raymondo Franco ll; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

My sincere condolences to the family. I graduated with Sherry and Shirley in 1968. I have always admired the Rose family. Their parents were the nicest and friendliest people.
