Donald Ray Vinson was born on November 14, 1954 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Bobbie Vinson who preceded him in death along with two siblings, Claude and Patricia.

He was raised in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a cook at Sheppard Air Force Base for approximately fifteen years and Denver Manor Nursing Home for sixteen years.

He married at an early age and had four sons, Donald R. Vinson Jr., Charles D. Vinson, Sr., KaJuan D. Vinson, Sr., and Terrance Cooper, Sr.

He is survived by his children; sisters, Claudie, Dollie, Barbara, Essie, Elaine, Sharon, and Kerterse; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family and friends.
