Earline W. Stevenson was born October 3, 1945, in Wichita Falls, TX to L. J. and Mary Elizabeth Walters. Earline departed this life on November 27, 2022.

Earline attended Booker T. Washington High School and later attended Vernon College. She worked at Levi Straus for many years until her retirement.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She was an active member of the choir until her health began to fail.

She met and married the love of her life Lloyd Stevenson, Jr. (59 yrs.) and to this union one child was born, Craig DeWayne.

Earline is preceded in death by her Parents, L. J. and M. Elizabeth Walters; Husband, Lloyd Stevenson, Jr., Son, Craig Stevenson; and Brother, Elwelch Walters, Sr.

Earline was known for her cooking especially her cakes. When requested to bake a cake for “no matter the occasion” she would always oblige.

Earline leaves to cherish her memories, brother, Herbert L. Walters, Sr, Garland TX.; sister, Mentha W. Price (Jerome) McKinney, TX; grandson, Davian Dewayne Stevenson, Wichita Falls, TX; daughter-in law, Lakrisa Stevenson, Wichita Falls, TX; nieces, D’Londra (Mike) Hicks Lancaster, TX, Dionne Smith, (Juan), Felicia (Anthony) Kelly, Wichita Falls, TX. Tymia Walters, Garland, TX; Herbert L. Walters Jr. Garland, TX., Elwelch Walters Jr. Wichita Falls, long time neighbor, Sylvia Wallace and Family; Special Friends, Essie McKinney, Lynn and Carr Staley; host of other relatives within the Stevenson and Pope Families and numerous other friends.
