Granny,

I said a prayer for you
To thank the Lord above
For blessing us with a lifetime
Of your tenderhearted love.
We thank God for the caring
You have shown us through the years
For the closeness we’ve enjoyed
In time of laughter and of tears.
And so, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts
For all you’ ve done for us,
We thank you Lord for giving us the best Granny ever.
Granny,
our prayer is to rest in peace and continue to watch over us.
We love you.

Celebrate! Celebrate!
I have gone to a better place.
Weep not for me,
But celebrate the life that I lived.
I have found peace and rest.
Be glad for me.
I ache no more, and my frail body
No longer pains me.
I now rest with the one who gave me life.
I glory in the joy that I found eternal peace.
Weep not for me, for I will always be with you.
I will be ever present when you need me.
I am gone from our lives, I am just at rest,
Celebrate this day the life that I led
While among you.
I have loved you all, I have no regrets.
I deserve the rest that is now my fate.
Celebrate! Celebrate!
