• Emma Gene Wade was born February 24, 1966 to R.L. and Emma Wade in Memphis TX. She departed this life on September 9, 2025 surrounded by family.

  She graduated from Vernon High School in Vernon, TX where she was a star athlete in basketball. After graduation her travels brought her to Wichita Falls, TX to provide for her two sons. Emma was employed as a supervisor at Sheppard Air Force Base for 26 years.

  Emma was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Jane and oldest brother, Melvin Ray.

  She leaves to cherish her memories her father, R.L. Wade; two sons, Edrick Wade and Cory Wade; one granddaughter, Ava Wade; four brothers, Rev. Bobby Wade (Cheryl), Donal Earl, R.J., and Rev. Billly Joe Wade; three sisters, Ruby (Willie), Wanda Kay, and Louise Wade; one uncle; special friend, Woody and a host or other relatives and friends.
