Obituary For GERALDINE HUDSON PENDLETON

Geraldine Pendleton was born in Newnan, GA on June 18, 1952 to the parentage of James Henry and Margie Elizabeth Keith Hudson. After the death of her biological mother when she was 8 years old she was adopted by her Uncle James Robinson Keith and Mildred Keith. She departed this life on July 15, 2022.

Geraldine grew up in Newnan, Georgia where she graduated from Newnan High School in 1972. She was a faithful member of Triumph Holiness Church. She met and married Milton Pendleton and moved to Wichita Falls, TX. In their union she had daughters Sylvia Denese Pendleton and LaTosha Lynette Pendleton. She later gave birth to Michael Austin.

Geraldine was employed as a domestic worker and did home health. She devoted and committed her adult life to provide special care for her daughters. After the death of her daughters, Sylvia (Bernard Owens) and LaTosha, she devoted her life to raising her grandson Javareon. (JJ).

She loved playing cards and listening to music. Blues was her favorite genre. She loved spending time with family and cooking. Her favorite dish to cook was in the soul food family.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her biological father, mother and her adopted mother; two twin sisters, Carla and Darla (as infants); a baby brother, Michael; daughters, Sylvia Denese and LaTosha Lynette; adopted Sister, Miriam LaRose Davison and adopted brother, William James Keith.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories, adopted father, James Robinson Keith of Newnan, Georgia; son, Michael Austin; his close first cousin John John; grandson, Javareon Jerome Pendleton; great-grandchildren, Mike, Jr and Asia all of Wichita Falls, Texas; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Astin (Lee), Felicia Gail Hudson both of Atlanta, Georgia and Angela H. Gilliard 0f Jacksonville, Florida; brothers, Abdur (Lewis). Hassan (Dorothy) of Columbus, Georgia and James Lee Hudson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; adopted brothers, Milton Garnell Keith and Charles Willis Keith both of Newnan, Georgia; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, special nephews Teon and Tyler both of Atlanta, Georgia, other relatives and friends; and sister in law, Lois Austin of Wichita Falls, Texas. Friends and family include members from Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma and other places not mentioned due to relocation of friends and family.

Geraldine and sister Felicia Gail shared a special bond and communicated regularly. Her two sons, Teon and Tyler also shared that relationship and bond with Michael and Geraldine.

    I taught Geraldine's daughters as a Sunday School Teacher. She loved her children and I was saddened to realized her daughters had already passed on. May she see them in heaven and all of them there be released from all the pains of this world to a transformed one above.

    My condolences to her son, grandkids , siblings and the rest of our family that are grieving the death of Geraldine . I'm so blessed to have been in her life since birth as 1st cousins, I'll cherish every moment that I had the chance to enjoy laughter and love 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💝
