Mrs. Gladys Robinson was born April 1, 1928, in Jacksonville, Texas to Jerry and Ruby Tanner. She lived her life in many places but settled in Wichita Falls, Texas. She accepted Christ at an early age; she was a longtime, faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she served for decades until her health began to decline. She departed this life on Monday, December 20, 2021. She was married to the late Jimmy Robinson. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, two sons Billy Charles Truitt and Johnny Truitt and a daughter, Doris Rainey. She worked for 30 years for MHMR as a dietician. Gladys was an avid reader, she loved to cook, bake and play dominoes where she rarely lost. She treasured time with her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Brannon; sons, Dwight Truitt, Byron Meadows (Elizabeth), B Jake Franklin (Valerie) and Frederick Von Franklin, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous family and friends
