Janet Celest Brown, 66, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on December 25, 2025. She was born on June 15, 1959, and was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School. Janet worked many jobs throughout her life and later moved to Newport News, Virginia, where she was employed at Canon Manufacturing for many years. She later returned to Wichita Falls and worked at the Salvation Army for several years before becoming disabled. Janet was known for her deep love of family and friends and the care she showed to everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by mother, Lena Mae Colbert; father, Bobby Oliver Sr.; her grandparents, Helen and Elgin Colbert; her grandson, Michael Brown; her great-granddaughter, Keyanna Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members. Janet will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Janet is survived by her longtime partner, Larry Bedford; daughters, LaDonna Brown and D’Monica Lewis; son, Rodney Brown; sisters, Renee Oliver and Valarie Oliver; brothers, Don Brown (Rosie) and Bobby Oliver Jr.; ten grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
