erome Martin Dowdy, Sr. was born July 11, 1949 in Memphis, Tn. He departed this life on September 13, 2019.

He spent his early life in Memphis where he graduated from high school and later attended Lincoln University, Missouri where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Music Education.

Jerome was the manager of the Maurine Street Apartments after retiring from Howmet.

Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle.

He leaves to cherish his memories four children, Jerome, Jr., Mark (Valencia), Denise Santos and Michael Magill; seven grandchildren, DaQuarius (Bree’ana) Lett, Dominick (Giselle) Anderson, Jada (Tanner) Lunn, Ayo Hofli, Na’Cole Sutton, Kiana and Myrical Dowdy; three great-grandchildren, Chaise Lunn, Princess Sutton and Akino Anderson; an aunt, Josie Dowdy and a host of relatives and friends.
