Jerry Ben Griffin passed away Nov 17 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Jerry was born on May 25, 1946 in Bowie, TX to Alex Louie and Mary Kilgore Griffin. He attended Bowie schools and graduated from Midwestern State University. Jerry was a Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam. He worked in sales most of his life and was a skilled carpenter and home renovator whose work can be seen in the homes of many friends and family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Sunny Griffin.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Spurlock Griffin; daughters, Alex of Wichita Falls and Hayley Richey and husband Skye of Bowie, TX; brother, Joe and wife Susan of Wichita Falls, TX; brother and sister in law, Jere and Joan Spurlock of Jolly and their daughters, Julie and Jamie; grandchildren, Olivia, Griffin and Ryan Richey of Bowie, TX; nephew, Justin, wife Nicole and great nephew, Jake of Durango, Co; Sunny and Hayley's mother, Bena Ann Fincher of Bowie, TX; lifelong friends Bill and Leonita Rhone, Bob Hankins, Mike and Anne Patterson, Bob and Sarah Harmel, Gary Allmand and Deb Stevens.
