Obituary For Leveta Jett Allen
Leveta Jett Allen was born July 11, 1950 to the late Clint Allen and Rennie Mae Jett in Vinita Oklahoma, She received her education in Vinita Oklahoma. She departed this earth Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Leveta and her family relocated to Wichita Falls, TX in 1960. Along with her family, she was a charter member of New Jerusalem under the leadership of Rev. Angus Thompson where she was an active member until her illness.
Leveta was employed at IHS, Spragg Electric, and Denver Manor for many years. She was an avid football fan, high school as well as NFL. She loved spending time with her four girls and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Korean Wilson; three brothers, Robert Wilson, Pete Wilson and Jimmy Wilson; uncle, Amos Jett and grand-niece, Mikisha Wilson.
She leaves to carry the family legacy four daughters, Brenda Roland, Katrina “Molly” Sillemon (Leroy), Elizabeth Myles (Karl, Jr.), and Shelma Young (DeShaun) all of Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren, Kiara Allen, Alexis Young, DeShaun Young, Jr., Keliel Young, Khyree Young, Javeen Young, Kinterra Allen, Courtland Hennigan, Ashili Ramsey (Andrew), Leroy Sillemon, Courtney Roland , Roderick Roland, and Thomas Roland; niece, Jewel Hearne (Chrisotpher); nephews, Jerry Wilson, Anthony of Wichita Falls, TX and Reggie Wilson, Houston TX (Kiesha); twelve great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita Falls, TX, 4300 Southwest Parkway, Thursday, April 2, at 11:00 am under the direction of Wells Funeral Home.
