Lillie Faye Reynolds was born to the proud parents of JP and Jerry Lee Mergerson on July 7, 1942 in Wichita Falls. TX. She departed this life on January 1, 2022.

At an early age she accepted Christ. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and attended Midwestern State University.

She married Willie James Reynolds on June 6, 1964. She worked for Sears for over forty years before retiring. She made her home in Dallas for over forty years before moving back to Wichita Falls in early 2010.

Faye was preceded in death by her father, JP Mergerson; mother, Jerry Lee Mergerson; husband, Willie James Reynolds; brothers, Ira, Rody Wayne and Anthony Mergerson; sister, Georgelle Hayden; sister in law, Shirley High and best friend, Peggy Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories, sister, Cathy Thornton (Winston); sister in law, Dorothy Woodard Mergerson; grandchildren, Chloe and Wade Thornton; special niece, Jerry LaNell; Godchildren, Arbresha (Twin) and Markeith Brown; a host of nieces, great and great great nephews, great and great great cousins and friends.
