Marcus was born November 21, 1958 in Wichita Falls to Gracie Lee Blanding. He departed this life April 26, 2025. He was raised by his grandmother, Ara Mae Wyatt. Marcus graduated from S.H. Rider High School in 1976.
He worked at the Central Boys Club where he taught Horsemanship, Archery, and Marksmanship at Camp Lake Kickapoo for many years. He was the cook for several years at Sheppard AFB. He was the kitchen manager at the oldest bar, Pioneer 2 until retiring early. He had a love for cooking, rodeos, all things cowboy and watching UFC.
He is preceded in death by his mother Gracie Lee Blanding; grandmother, Ara Mae Wyatt; wife, Lelia Ann Wyatt, and brother Boris Wyatt.
He is survived by his significant other, Phyllis Wright; sons, Christopher Estus and Julian Wyatt (Feleshia); daughters, Kayara Palmer (Donnie, II) and Ebonique Cooper (Contea); sisters, Lavora Galbert and Yontria Hall (Al); brothers, Zachary Mack (Brenda), Randal Rogers (Khiva); uncle, Bobby Wyatt, Sr.; grandchildren, Zaria Palmer, Ny’Asia Wyatt, Lucas Wyatt, Athena Wyatt, Cartier Cooper; a host of nieces nephews, bonus grandchildren, relatives and friends.
