Mary Loiuse Hampton was born July 18, 1947 in Dallas, TX to the late Leonard Pope, Sr. and Ernestine Washington. She departed this life August 13, 2022.
Mary found peace within herself May 13, 1990 when she accepted Christ and he lead her to Narcotics Anonymous. Mary devoted herself to NA and her family.
She leaves to cherish her legacy her one and only beloved son, Dyron O'Shea Pope; 3 grandchildren, Charia (Keith) Williams, Demetrius (Lyndsi) Pope, Antwanae Pope; 5 great grandchildren, Charvarous, Chariti, Charlesia, De'Lylah, Isaiah; 4 great great grandchildren, Talayiha, Amir, Traysen, Kadence; 1 brother, leonard Pope; 2 sisters, Helen and Pam; Leonard and Lawrence.

Mary was so special and such a hard worker. She had shared with me her life trials and I will never forget her faith and dedication to help others. She was an accomplished and highly favoured woman.
