Mary Louise Ingram McPherson, age 86, passed away peacefully May 17, 2023. She was born October 18, 1936, in Del Rio, Texas to the late Carry Ford and Sam Griner. She spent her early years in San Angelo, TX.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age. Mary treasured helping and serving others. She taught Sunday School and enjoyed playing the piano. Several of her favorite past times were spending time with family, crossword puzzles, reading and gardening.

Mary attended Midwestern State University where she earned her Bachelor Degree of Sociology and a minor in English and Philosophy. For many years she worked at the State Hospital, CAC (Community Action Corporation of Wichita Falls) and retired from Helen Farabee.

Mary's most cherished times were traveling with her daughter Rebecca Hall. She also enjoyed attending her nieces and nephew’s events and activities.

She married her longtime friend and love, Myers Edward McPherson who preceded her in death.

Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse. Mary was all about helping family and ensuring they were protected and safe. Her favorite Bible verse was Psalm 133: That living together in unity covers the whole land with good things. Loving one another is not only Jesus ‘command, it is the best way for us to live.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, her brothers Ernest, John, and Edward.

She leaves her legacy and cherished memories to her beautiful daughter, Rebecca Hall of Wichita Falls, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, host of other relatives and long-time friends.
