attye Mae Marks was born July 3, 1941 in Sherman, TX to the late John Henry Brown and Jessie Mae Brown. God laid her to rest on January 28, 2020 through a lengthy illness. She will be forever loved and never forgotten. Mattye was very caring and loved by all she met.
She was a member of Greater Miracle Church of God in Christ under Pastor Bishop Alford Ailey. Mattye loved to sing and cook. She was a fantastic cook.
Mattye leaves to cherish her memory, four sisters, Lena Barnes, Catherine Brown, Helen Anderson and Alma Reed (James); brother, Donald Brown (Diana); step-daughters, Carolyn Tillis and Paula Palmer; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
