McKinley "Mac" Ingram, Jr. was born on November 27, 1931, to the late McKinley Ingram Sr. and Julia Bates Ingram in Longview, Texas. He was the second child of six siblings. He united in holy matrimony to Nora Lee Dixon on November 3, 1975. He worked for the City of Wichita Falls and Durham School Services. He accepted Christ at an early age and had a beautiful singing voice. He loved Gospel Quartet singing and was a part of numerous singing groups throughout his life. He united with St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he was a faithful member until his health failed. He worked with the Brotherhood, Male Chorus, Mass Choir and Pastor’s Aid departments. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mike; one sister, Lois Freeman; brothers, James and Donald Wilson. Mourning his departure and cherishing his precious memories are his wife, Nora, sons, Bishop McKinley “Peter” Ingram III (Helen) and Terry Ingram of Dallas, Texas; stepsons Kenneth (Jacqueline) Dixon, Calvin (Marsha) Harrell and Marvin Earl Harrell of Wichita Falls, Texas; sisters, Azalee Landurm and Josephine Norris Shepard of Saginaw, Michigan; cousin, Edward “Bubba” Sirls of Longview, Texas; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
