Mildred “Mil” Sanchez Thomas was the oldest of eight children. She was born to the union of Quintus Sanchez and Taylor Baker and raised in Cocoa, Florida. Later she would move to New York and marry her husband, Clifford Thomas. They were together until he passed away. She later moved to Wichita Falls, TX. Mildred worked for Red River Hospital and Texhoma Nursing Home here in Wichita Falls.

She was loved for her sense of humor and she loved to dance. She will be greatly missed. We Thank God for the time we had with her. I realize my plans for my mom, wasn’t God’s Plan!

Mildred was preceded in death by her Mother, Quintus Sanchez; Father, Taylor Baker; brother, Johnny W, Baker, George Sanchez, Eugene Bowens and son, Mark Webster; grandson, David Carlyle.

She is survived by her 4 Siblings, Marjorie (Jonathan) Hepburn, Margaret (Charles) Dunbar and Anthony Bowens, Wilford Sanchez; 5 children, Sheila Smith, Jerry Baker, Renee Webster, and Penny Webster; 9 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews
