Powell Burns was born July 5, 1933 in New York, NY to Mitchell and Edna Burns. He departed this life on October 21, 2022. He proudly served his country. He was Tour Superintendent for the US Postal Services for 37 years. He volunteered for United Regional for 13 years, member of the YMCA, Lions Club, Texas State Guard, Sheriff Academy and City of Wichita Falls Police Academy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Burns; son, Powell Burns, Kevin Burns, Steven and Jacson Burns; seven grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Ella Burns; other relatives and friends; special care givers Barbara Cameron and Linda Abernathy.
