Robert LaDale Mitchell went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2020. He was born to Bobby Joe Mitchell and Rosetta Owens Mitchell on January 7, 1959. He attended Virginia High School and then moved to Wichita Falls to finish his last semester and to graduate. He was a member of Mitchell Chapel where he enjoyed playing his bass guitar. He was a devoted believer in the Lord and lived his life according to God’s will. He worked at Sheppard Air Force Base as a loyal employee for forty-one years.

Robert was a quiet, gentle soul who wanted to make life easier for those he knew and loved. He was dedicated to creating a loving and welcoming home where he found comfort in caring for his home, working in the yard, and creating memories and laughter with his family. Most importantly, Robert was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Mitchell, Sr. and brother, Clifford Mitchell.

He will be missed by all but mostly by those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Genna Mitchell of Wichita Falls; sons, Jason, Robert, and Steven; grandchildren; Stephanie, Daissy, Breanna, Nevaeh, Amiah, and Anaiah; mother, Rosetta Wright and step-mother, Gloria Mitchell; brothers, Bobby, Jr. (Moca), LaRay, and Elijah; sister, Tywaskia; step-sister, Leetashia; sister-in-law, Phil Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
