Ruth L. Williams Staab the oldest of four children of the late Rosie Pearl Williams was born on June 19, 1955 in Calvert, Texas. The family later moved to Odessa, Texas where she attended Ector High School. She gave her life to Christ at an early age joining Macedonia Baptist Church and upon moving to Wichita Falls she became a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She served in the Choirs, Youth Department, Praise Team Coach, Mission, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Team member, Girls in Action leader, Hospitality, Meals on Wheels, Decorations. Ruth was employed for many years worked for PPG. Ruth married Michael Richard Staab, November 12, 1999. Ruth departed this life on March 4, 2020.

Ruth was preceded in death by her mother Rosie; brothers, Gregory and Eugene; and her loving husband, Michael R. Staab.

Ruth is survived aunt/mother, Ida Ruth Smith (James); daughters, Erica Arevalo (David), LaShanda M. Williams, Shayla Williams, and Rachel Guilford; stepson, Christopher M. Staab; brother, Anthony Brown (wife); great aunts Estella Harris (Chicago) and Anna Mae Crane (Burkburnett); grandchildren, Uri Easter (Faith), Carlos Gould, Aria Williams, Ylana Williams, Xola Gould, Ezra Moses, Asa Arevalo, Jaoquin Williams, Marcos Williams, and Mia Williams; great grandchildren, Shai Tijani and Yanai Easter; uncles, Bobby Williams, William E. Williams of Houston, Kevin Williams of Arlington; a host of aunts, uncle, nephews, nieces, family and friends.
