Graveside Services Tuesday, December 21, 2021 Gamble Funeral Home Hopkinsville, KY Charles Blair was born on November 16, 1953 in McCormick, South Carolina to Vangie Lee and Marshall Blair. He resided in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until he joined the United States Army. He served for 22 years and retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class in November 1998 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He worked for Sam's Club in Clarksville, Tennessee for 20 years following his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, June Marie Blair, and wife, Mary Blair. He leaves to cherish his memory long time companion, Dawna Ray, children, Chantel (Samuel) Brooks, Mychal Blair, and Lakeisha (Jose) Ramos; step-daughters, Vonnie (Xavier) Mackell and Kim Hawkins, 6 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 16 step great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
