Tonya Hall was born on March 13, 1971, in Wichita Falls, TX. She is the daughter of Gurda Lee Anderson and Marilyn Anderson Campbell (James). She gained her wings on June 6, 2025.

Tonya was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School, class of 1989. She was a member of the Acapella Choir and Drill Team. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge, the Progressive Club Sisterettes, and a Debutante through the Progressive Club. Throughout her youth, she was an active member at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church and a member of the church youth choir.

After high school, Tonya attended Aladdin Beauty College, where she received her cosmetology license. She worked as a hairstylist for several years before becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in the medical field.

Tonya served for over twenty years supporting patients at United Regional Hospital, Hospice of Wichita Falls, and Encompass Health. She loved helping her patients.

In 2011, Tonya married Kelvin Hall, and the two became members of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. They both served under the leadership of Reverend Robert M. Castle.

Tonya was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin.

She is preceded in death by father, Gruda Lee Anderson; husband, Kelvin Hall; and daughter, Sierra Anderson.

Tonya leaves to cherish her legacy and memories to her parents, James and Marilyn Campbell; siblings, Leila Hill (Randy), Kevin and JJ Anderson; daughter, Shameosha Anderson; step-daughters, Se’Aun Mance (Troy) and Rosa Hall; grandchild, Amia Mance; and granddog, Zola Mae Anderson. She also leaves behind her unborn grandson who she affectionately referred to him as “Tink Tink,” and she was overjoyed about his upcoming arrival. Though she did not get the chance to meet him, her love and excitement for him were deeply felt and will live on through her family. She also leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will cherish her memory and continue to carry her spirit forward.

I am truly heartbroken by her passing. Tonya was one of my oldest friends - so many memories. She was a beautiful soul. I pray that your hearts find comfort in the memories, and in knowing how deeply she was loved. May God surround you with peace, and may Tonya rest in eternal grace. - Marcine M Moore

I worked with Tonya for a very long time at United Regional. She certainly had a servants heart and loved her patients and they loved her! Her smile could brighten any room. It was a rare occasion that she wasn't smiling. Gone from us too soon but thankful to know she is with our Savior. Praying for the family during this time of loss.
