Troy Nathaniel Vaughn was born on June 24, 1956 in Wichita Falls, TX to Henry and Rosie Lee Vaughn.
He attended Washington Elementary School, Washington Jr. High, McNiel Jr. High, graduating from S. H. Rider High School.
During his upbringing he was under the guidance of his church home, COGIC of The Apostolic Faith lead by Pastor Arlandus Brown, Sr. As a Young boy, Troy had a love for music and singing; but found the love of boxing as his passion.
Troy was called home on March 21, 2024 in Wichita Falls, TX.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Williams; mother, Rosie Lee Vaughn; siblings, twin brother, Roy Vaughn, Herman Lee, Henry Lee, Donnell, Hubert Vaughn; sisters, Mary Ann Griggs and Nancy Morris; and guardian, Darlene Vaughn-Bell (Kelly).
Troy leaves to treasure his memories and legacy, brothers, Stevie Vaughn and Bobby Vaughn of Houston, TX; sister, Marie Nelson (Larry); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
