Valerie Toliver of Wichita Falls, TX was born September 27, 1939 in Marlin Texas to the late Willie and Georgia (Cunning) Toliver.

She attended and graduated from Munday High School before moving to Wichita Falls, TX. She worked at National Linen for forty years until her retirement.

Valerie was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, cousin and friend. She loved spending time with the family cooking, laughing and having a good time.

At a very young age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she served on the Adult Usher Board.

Valerie is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Georgia Toliver; daughters, Jackie and Cheryl; brothers, George and Climmie; sisters, LaVata, Gracie, Barbara, Christine, Patsy, and Cora. She leaves to cherish her memories, sons, Terry Toliver (Christina) of Denver, Co and Darryl Toliver of Wichita Falls, TX; brothers, David Toliver of Los Angeles, CA, Larry and R.Q Toliver (Gabby) both of Wichita Falls, TX; sisters, Viola McKnight (Jerry) of Dallas, TX, Georgia McKinney of Wichita Falls, TX and Vickie Toliver of Munday, TX; grandchildren, Porcha Freenantle, Daunte Toliver, Elijah Toliver, Braylon Toliver, Montanna Seale, Dariyon Toliver, K’viyonToliver, Jaquavius Goins, Dmitry Lawrence, Darryl Toliver, Jr., Trinity Wetzel, and Xi’Daria Toliver; great grandchildren, Janay Martinez, Zola Freenantle, Dezmond Toliver, Ke’Maurion Scott, Dalayia Seale, Camron Toliver, Aziah Toliver; special thanks to her friend, Ella Spann, who loved her dearly; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
